The Colour grey

I found a home between black and white.

Am not sure whether it is hiding imperfections,

Or it's my indifferent attitude toward life.

In my presence, they soothe and cool,

Even when they call me unemotional, I cast my balance.

I do it so well that they hardly notice.

I found a home between black and white.

Am not sure whether it is cowardice,

Or it's me hiding in a shell.

For so long, I have lived on; I wouldn't call it regret because I'm quite knowledgeable.

To them, I am a confusion they can't quite understand.

I found a home between black and white.

Am not sure whether it's bravery,

For they still call me dull,

But I stand tall, magnificently.

Time and again, I am a mystery they can't quite understand.
