DRIFTING

You are drifting far from me.

I nolonger know how to reach you,
It's so hard to be anything that we once were.

You're standing so close, yet so far from me,
I'm I worried?, yes I am.
I'm worried I might lose you along the way.

I didn't know I had to compete,
With a number of people,
Just so I can get a bit of your attention.

You have made it so hard for me
To cross the bridge to you,
You're like a shadow, i can't touch it even when I try.
